This Armed Robber Thought He Had The Upper Hand Until This Concealed Carry Gun Owner Showed Him Crime Didn’t Pay!

conceal

When an armed robber entered this convenience store, he thought he would score some easy cash and be on his way. What he didn’t know is that a concealed carrier was in line and wasn’t going to sit idly by while the robbery occurred.

When the robber turned his attention to the store clerk and other customers in the store, the concealed carrier drew his gun.

As soon as the robber turned back around, he gets shot in the chest and immediately drops to the ground.

His breathing is labored and shows paradoxical chest movement, an indicator of a flail chest. Flail chest is a life-threatening medical condition that occurs when a segment of the rib cage breaks under extreme stress and becomes detached from the rest of the chest wall.

Sometimes in life, you just have to show those who have no respect for authority just how valuable that trait is needed to survive in the land we live in. This concealed carrier was in the right spot at the right time.

Scott, you are part of what is wrong with this country. When someone has a gun in any position and is robbing you, your life IS in danger. Remember the BAD GUY choose to put himself in this situation. This type of shooting is why we need to preserve our second amendment rights. If he is in a state with reasonable laws there will not be much court time. One way to cut down on court time is to make sure you kill the evil doer. Spot Scott and Jr be good liberals and hand him your money and maybe get shot in appreciation. By the way Jr. you see a LOT wrong, maybe you would like to enlighten us with what it is you see wrong. Bad guy enters store with gun to commit a robbery, he turns toward proprietor with gun in hand while committing a class A. Proprietor shoots him. A righteous shooting for sure.

My question is… it appears the shooter only fired once. Why? As a Military Officer I was taught to always fire 3 round bursts. You shoot until the threat is completely neutralized, i.e. dead. This man was completely within his rights to take down the assailant and hopefully the criminal died. Thus he will never commit another crime, making the world a safer place. All good law-abiding citizens should carry 100% of the time. We’d be much better off if they did. More guns = Less crime… Always!

  3. Jr says:

I see a LOT wrong with this shooter’s actions and the way he handled this situation. Not much doubt he did what he had to do in order to extinguish the threat but I hope he is prepared for some time in court and the lawsuit to follow.

The shooter did nothing wrong (except maybe only firing once). There should be no court situation for him to face. If he does it will demonstrate how far our republic has declined. Everyone has a God-given right to defend themselves, their property, and others. That can never be taken away by anyone. Our nation was founded on that premise. If we ever lose it, we’re toast!

I couldn’t see what the robber was doing with the gun when he was shot, but any movement would be interpreted by a reasonable person as dangerous, when done by a person with a gun, in the process of committing a felony. So, yes, well within the parameters for lethal force by my state’s laws.

  5. Bill says:

I remember when armed robbery was a capital offense – if convicted, one could go to jail for life (or get the chair). Now it’s “use a gun; go to jail” but it’s usually for 5 years and could be as little as 1 year.

  6. Scott says:

No, I don’t think he acted properly. He should have taken him at gunpoint under citizens arrest and had someone dial 911. His life was NOT in danger! Now if the thug had raised the gun in his hand then yes take him down. This type of shooting is what will end our 2nd Amendment Rights!

    1. Bill says:

When someone is committing a crime in your presence and is armed, your life IS in danger.

    2. Ronald says:

A person who is in the process of an armed robbery, has already used the gun to intimidate the clerk, and he turns toward the shooter, with the gun in his hand. How many shots does he have to fire before you think the guy can reasonably shoot? Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

    3. Jr says:

Foolishness Scott, I am an armed robber looking you in the eye with a weapon in my hand, are you going to ask me if I’m going to shoot you or am I just blowing smoke. You would be dead in seconds.

+1 for the gun owner, -1 for the street thug!
