Astronaut Buzz Aldrin is an American hero and patriot. And before his courageous mission to the moon in 1969, he also bravely served in the Korean War as a USAF fighter pilot.
But to this day, some people still don’t believe NASA landed a spaceship on the moon. They believe that the lunar landing was actually on a movie sound stage, and have spent decades raising absurd questions about the directions of shadows upon the lunar surface.
In 2002 a man who didn’t believe the lunar landing – Bart Sibrel – decided to confront Buzz Aldrin about it, and did so in the most disrespectful way possible. Watch (above) as Buzz Aldrin listens to the criticism, then takes care of business.
This issue ended up in the courts, and the judge correctly decided that Aldrin was defending himself.
Let this be a reminder – if you have crazy ideas, it is probably best to keep them to yourself. And maybe schedule a visit with a doctor.
