Athlete Does THIS In Attempt To Win A Cycling Race?!

Cycling

It seems every sport has its share of cheaters. Baseball, tennis, and other sports have each been thrown into chaos over recent years with allegations of widespread claims of drug abuse and match fixing.

But professional cycling beats them all as the sleaziest, dirtiest sport in the world. Already tarred by longtime cheaters like Lance Armstrong, the sport was further rocked this week when Belgian cyclist Femke Van den Driessche attempted to race in a bike which had been fitted with a secret motor.

She, of course, claims to be as surprised as everyone by the discovery of the motor, and is fighting against the allegation she is a cheater.

Of course, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, etc. etc. But this is far from the first time a cyclist promised they were clean before being exposed as a crook.

Still, it’s a bit more inventive than just taking drugs, right?
