Beautiful: A New Take on an Old Hymn

Watch (above) as Sarah Noëlle sings the Robert Robinson and John Wyeth’s 18th century hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” while playing guitar.

The lyrics, which dwell on the theme of divine grace, are based on 1 Samuel 7:12, where the prophet Samuel raises a stone as a monument, saying, “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.”

Sarah’s YouTube page said she first played this song at her sister’s wedding. One YouTube user said, “You have so much talent it’s amazing. This is my favorite hymn and one of my all time favorite songs period. And yours is honestly the best version I have heard.”
