What is Bernie Sanders going to tell her, “Look, I know I’m not a Democrat, tried to crash your party so I could be president, but could I be president, and you be my vice president?” Bernie has no integrity – lost it all until he kept on running after losing.
Sanders would be a disappointing sell-out if he decides to partner with Hillary just to defeat Donald Trump, but then again I am a trouble-maker!
Sanders and Hillary are like day and night, they cannot be merged, they cannot work together so he has to stay in the race so his people can cause havoc at the Democratic National Convention. Sanders has been against everything Hillary stood for all through this campaign cycle, so where are the similarities that would make them forge a common progressive front?
If Sanders knew he would end up teaming up with Hillary, then he shouldn’t have set out to campaign against the Democratic establishment. Any agreement or concession between Sanders and Hillary aimed at making Sanders supporters back Hillary would be a YUUUUGE disappointment from Sanders to his followers.
From USA Today:
Bernie Sanders said Sunday that he will meet with presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Tuesday evening to discuss what kind of presidency she will have if she wins the White House.
Sanders wanted to wait until the final presidential primary campaign inWashington, D.C., on Tuesday was over before talking to her about how he can help her beat presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Clinton last week sewed up the majority of delegates even before winning big victories in California and New Jersey to become the presumptive Democratic nominee, though Sanders remains in the race.
Sanders said on ABC’s This Week that he will talk to Clinton about a progressive platform for the Democratic National Convention and “if she wins, what kind of administration she will have and whether or not she will stand up forcefully for working families.”
Sanders said he wants to help shape a Democratic platform that includes higher taxes on large corporations and billionaires, tuition-free public colleges and universities, a stronger effort to combat climate change and a massive jobs program “to put millions of people back to work.”
The Vermont senator said he hopes to transform the Democratic Party from “raising money from the wealthy to listening to a declining middle class.”
Sanders promised to do whatever he can to help defeat Trump.
Honestly, I don’t care about the two; again I am a trouble-maker.
But I do know this; Clinton is corrupt, a flip-flopper on almost every issue, and continually lies about it. She takes millions from foreign dictatorships, Wall Street, and the private prison lobby. Her private foundation is a slush fund for dirty money. There will be no reforms with her in power. Her foreign policies are disastrous, having killed thousands (Iraq, Libya, Haiti, Honduras). She is friendly with dictators and got millions for her foundation after granting them weapons as secretary of state. Plain corruption. Sanders, on the other hand, is a socialist. It’s lose-lose for either one, but then again I am trouble-maker.
