Bernie Sanders Gives A Very Socialist Response About Borders

Here’s one excuse that I always used to hear from liberals on illegal immigration: that it’s simply impossible to deport the 11 million illegals who current live in our country. I was never sure what kind of excuse it was – does it imply we should do nothing and wait till there are 20 million illegals who we can’t deport?

Today’s Democrats are extreme enough to not even bother trying to hide their motives. Speaking in Arizona, Bernie stated:

We don’t need a wall, and we don’t need barbed wire,” Sanders said, with Mexico over his right shoulder and the U.S. over his left.

“We need comprehensive immigration reform,” Sanders said. “We need to take 11 million undocumented people out of the shadows, out of fear, and we need to provide them with legal protection.”

Sanders also criticized controversial Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has made national headlines for crackdowns on undocumented immigrants, as “demonizing and preying on vulnerable people and communities.”

And of course he wants illegals out of the shadows – he’d like them to be citizens – voting citizens. Ironically while they would be voting Democrat, they wouldn’t be voting for someone like him, who is getting crushed in the Latino demographic relative to Hillary.

One can only imagine just how much the cost of legalizing 11 million illegals would be amplified by all the socialist goodies they would be eligible for under a Sanders presidency. Below is tabled the cost of a Sanders presidency for all American citizens:

And when it says that the cost of all his proposals is $18 trillion over ten years, that’s $18 trillion above how much we already overspend by!

If Bernie is truly passionate about employment and decent wages, fighting illegal immigration should be at the forefront of his campaign. What better way to simultaneously employ Americans and raise wages then reduce illegal immigration?

The research shows that “Illegal immigration costs federal and local taxpayers $113 billion a year. That is an average cost to native-headed households of $1,117 a year.”  The cost of Donald Trump’s border wall is $2.4 billion.

Building that wall sounds like it would create am amazing return on investment, if I’ve ever seen one.
