Black Lives Matter may think they represent all black people – but they sure as hell don’t. Conservative Youtuber “Some Black Guy” has pounded on the BLM movement a number of times in the past – but his latest video is too good not to share.
Perhaps the strongest point he makes is one that proves that the movement truly is anti-cop. BLM founder Alicia Garza drew inspiration for the movement from Assata Shakur.
So who is Assata? Back in the 1970s she was a prominent member of the Black Panthers and Black Libertarian Army. Oh – and she was convicted of the murder of a police officer in 1979, escaped prison, and fled to Cuba, where she was granted political asylum. Not exactly the role model you want to have for a movement that claims to be “against police brutality” not “against the police.”
That’s just the beginning of his criticisms of the movement. He then goes after their despicable tactics and rhetoric, which, as of writing, has killed eight police officers in the past two weeks.
As he concludes, “they’re a bunch of manipulative liars.” There is no war on young black men by police – as a new Harvard study from a black economist recently proved.
What do you think of BLM? Certainly they are some people in the movement who mean well, but they certainly aren’t the ones speaking up. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
