21 “Bring Back Our Girls” Hostages Are Released

Many are praising terrorist group Boko Haram for releasing 21 girls of the 200 they took hostage away from their families. How does that even happen without a fight and secondly, how do you praise this terrorist group when so many are still under their captive hands?

I think I speak for a lot when I say kidnapping those poor girls is not a positive for  the “religion of peace.”

Over 200 girls were captured from their school by Boko Haram, a terrorist group that has pledged allegiance to ISIS.

And I ask myself this question: Why have security agencies not been able to track this girl and rescue them?

From The Guardian:

Twenty-one schoolgirls abducted by Islamic militants in Nigeria two years ago have been freed, officials in the west African country have said.

The news will raise hopes that more of the 276 schoolgirls, taken from their hostel in a government boarding school in the town of Chibok by Boko Haram in April 2014, will be released.

The kidnapping of the girls led to the global campaign #BringBackOurGirls, with public figures including the US first lady, Michelle Obama, calling for their release.

Few details have emerged of the ordeal of the abducted girls, many of whom are believed to have been taken as wives and systematically raped. Others have reportedly been forced to carry out demanding physical tasks.

About 190 girls from Chibok are still being held by the militants. Fifty-seven fled within hours of being captured. In May, one girl was found and rescued in an area close to Boko Haram strongholds.

Is Nigeria so big that it’s impossible to scout every square inch of its territory? Why can’t these girls be located and why is it so difficult to hunt down these Bokopunks? I think there is absolutely no will from the government to find them!

No religion should rule a country. All should have the right to choose or not choose. Our country was founded on freedom of religion to be free from persecution. My heart goes out to all these parents who are missing their child and to all these children who have been kidnapped. I cannot imagine what any of them must be going through! This is so incredible.

Do you think releasing 21 young girls is enough to receive praises when there are so many girls still missing or in hostage status? Share your comments below and let me know what you think.
