Boy With Cerebral Palsy Struggled to Run a Race… What His Classmates Did When They Saw Has Me in Tears!

It was race day at Colonial Hills Elementary School in Columbus, Ohio. As the students took off, one fell behind quickly – 11 year-old Matt Woodrum who has Cerebral Palsy.

Matt was told he didn’t have to participate in the 400 meter race. However, Matt was determined to not only run the race, but also keep up with his classmates.

At one point in the race, Matt started slowing down, and it looked as if he wouldn’t make it another step. That’s when gym teacher John Blaine did something special, and it was all caught on film by Matt’s mother.

This is a story many don’t get to hear but should be heard often. Share this good news with your friends and family and leave us a comment on how you felt watching the video.
