BREAKING: Bomb Threat Reported At MAJOR US Airport!

We can now confirm that airport police are investigating a possible bomb threat on a plane at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The threat came after the jetliner landed at the airport after traveling from Houston.

From CBS Los Angeles:

The Transportation Security Administration received a phone call Tuesday about a possible threat to Compass Air Flight 5931, according to LAX Airport police Officer Rob Pedregon. He did not have details about the threat. City News Service clarified that while American Eagle branding can be seen on the side of the aircraft, it is actually a Compass Airlines jetliner, which is a sub-carrier of the company, according to an airport spokesman.

The flight arrived at 8:43 a.m. from Houston and was kept on the runway with all passengers on board. Seven SWAT officers and a dog walked up a staircase and into the plane. FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says the bureau is aware of the threat and precautionary measures are being taken.

Police and fire officials helped deplane passengers and search the aircraft. The aircraft traveled to Los Angeles from Houston, Texas. No injuries were  reported.
