Breaking News: GOP Candidate Planning To Jump Back Into Race!

FILE - This April 25, 2014 file photo shows Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. speaking at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, Mass. Battling “the soft bigotry of low expectations” with national education goals was former Republican President George W. Bush’s campaign mantra. But many of his party’s would-be successors are calling for just the opposite of government-set rules, splitting the party over education policy as the GOP class of 2016 presidential hopefuls takes shape. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is considering a return to the presidential race, if the New Hampshire Union Leader endorses him following their previous endorsement of Chris Christie.

After Christie came out in support for Donald Trump, the Union Leader admitted it made a mistake in endorsing the New Jersey Governor.

From The Hill:

Former Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul tweeted on Tuesday that he would “un-suspend” his campaign if the New Hampshire Union Leader endorses him and declares a “do over.”

The paper, which endorsed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in the New Hampshire primary, retracted its endorsement of the former candidate on Monday night after Christie endorsed front-runner Donald Trump last week.
