With Donald Trump expected to win at least 50% of the vote in today’s New York Primary, the big question of the day is who did the GOP frontrunner actually vote for!
Well, we have just learned that Trump has in fact voted for himself, proclaiming hte moment to be “really, something terrific.”
Manhattan real estate mogul Donald Trump voted for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday.
“It was a great honor, really. Who would have thought?” Trump told reporters Tuesday morning after casting his ballot. “This was just a great honor and I think it’s a great honor for New York. New York is a special place.”
Trump maintains a 30-point advantage over John Kasich in New York, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls, and is expected to win big Tuesday.
“My whole reason for doing this is to make America great again. We’re a country with tremendous problems and we are going to make America great again,” he said.
The businessman added that his campaign is doing well and boasted about his support from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.
“We have amazing support,” Trump said, “but I’m really honored and putting in that vote today was really something terrific.”
