It happens to all of us: we head out for a vacation and end up losing the camera.
So spare a thought for five friends from Arizona, who launched their GoPro camera into the stratosphere using a weather balloon. But sadly, during the descent back to earth, the signal they were using to track the camera cut out.
That was two years ago. And the friends went about their lives, expecting never to find the camera again. But then, a hiker found the package, and used the SIM card to trace it back to the rightful owners.
The camera had landed just miles from where it had been launched.
And sure enough, when the friends took a look at the footage captured by the camera, they were not disappointed. Take a look yourself:
