May 13 was annual Military Appreciation night at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country and some have been doing this for years! Active military personnel, those who formerly served and their families were offered a free meal upon showing military ID. There were activities for children and a chance to share a meal with fellow military families.
Across Southern California, as many as 13,500 people were served free meals! That is incredible! One Chick-fil-A employee, Adam Hoffman said,
“Being in a military community, we felt this was a great opportunity to show our thanks, to give back and to really be generous to those who support us and sacrifice so much for us and our freedom.”
This is one of the few ways Chick-fil-A has shown what kind of business they are.
