YES! Chris Kyle’s Family’s Prayers FINALLY Answered!

Adding insult to injury, following the death of Chris Kyle, wife Tara Kyle found herself in court fighting Jesse Ventura, the former Minnesota governor and WWE wrestler (then WWF).

Ventura had previously filed a lawsuit against the late Chris Kyle, who tells a story in his book American Sniper that Kyle allegedly got in a bar fight with Ventura in 2006 after Ventura allegedly said that sometimes the Navy “deserves to lose a few” troops. Ventura decided to continue pursuing the lawsuit after Kyle’s passing against his widow, to prove to the rest of us that he’s not such a bad guy after all! Talk about crazy logic.

Ventura appeared to win at first, taking $1.8 million from the lawsuit, including $500,000 for defamation and $1.3 million for unjust enrichment in a case that Tara described as “torture.” That was in May of 2014 – and then karma (or sanity) bit back when a court struck down the judgement on appeal.

Despite his attempts to revive his case, Ventura finally got the smackdown he deserves.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday said it won’t hear arguments brought on behalf of former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura against the estate of slain Navy SEAL and “American Sniper” author Chris Kyle, leaving a lower court’s dismissal of a $1.8 million defamation verdict.

Last June, however, a three-judge panel of the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals outright reversed the unjust enrichment verdict and vacated and remanded the defamation judgment after agreeing that Mr. Ventura’s legal team damaged the defendant’s chance of a fair trial by telling jurors an insurance policy would cover the cost of damages awarded in court.

Given that Ventura is the kind of person who would pursue a lawsuit against a grieving widow, I’m going to go ahead and say that I HOPE Chris Kyle’s story is true. Ventura had it coming.

  1. If JUSTICE were to be truly served, Jesse would get every penny and more………..The courts are trying to screw him out of the money.

And YES- the published has insurance which would pay every penny – its not coming from the “poor widow” and starving kids type nonsense.

The court reversal was retaliation for Jesses’ lawyers pointing out that the publisher would pay, not ” stealing from the grieving widow”.

Interesting, serial liar Kyle was in the process of divorcing her and working on cutting her OUT of all the proceeds from books, movies etc.

This story as presented qualifies as FAKE NEWS !

The court ruling DID NOT absolve the well-proven FACTS that Kyle made up the entire story about Ventura.

Kyle had become a serial liar and blowhard. He made up stories about being a sniper in Nnew Orleans, and of gunning down carjackers in Cleburne Texas – the Sheriff there said Kyle made this up, as well
