He is the one man who can lead a horse to water AND make it drink. They wanted to put his face on Mount Rushmore, but the granite wasn’t hard enough for his beard. And he can kill two stones with one bird.
Those are Chuck Norris facts.
The Hollywood legend, karate master, and cultural icon has seen many things over his decades in the acting business. So when he offers advice to young struggling actors, they may just want to listen.
Norris recently told Hollywood TV that actors who are having a tough time making it in their craft should turn to faith.
Via CNS News:
In an interview with Hollywood.TV, a reporter asked Norris and his wife, Gena O’Kelley, “People like yourselves who are parents and who also have longstanding in the business and who’ve been through a lot, what kind of advice do you give to a young person that’s struggling like that [in Hollywood]?”
“The actors I meet that have their faith, you can see a brightness in their eyes,” he said. “And the ones that don’t have it, you can see that darkness in their eyes.”
So, I just say, try it,” he continued. “Try your faith. Just try it out and see if it works for you – I know it will and it worked for me. I know it will work for them too if they will just give it a try.”
Norris also said that the political world needs more ethics these days.
“I’m really disappointed in the direction our ethics are going, in our political system,” he explained. “We need to get back on the straight and narrow.”
His wife added that the nation “need(s) some moral courage.”
That’s something you’re certainly not going to see under President Obama.
