On Wednesday, CNN host Anderson Cooper interviewed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about his recent behavior towards his fellow GOPers during the campaign trail.
Cooper alluded to Trump as recently attacking other GOP Candidates Rick Perry of Texas, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and John McCain of Arizona.
Trump told Cooper how Graham and Perry had insulted him and were saying “horrible things” about him, and how he had to fight back, that America has to fight back so it doesn’t look like a weak country. Trump seemed to be setting the example of how to make America great again by not sitting back and allowing attacks to derail what we are working towards.
Cooper asked Trump if he thought it was presidential behavior to give out Graham’s phone number at a rally, and Trump confirmed it was, as you will see in this video clip:
Trump did agree with Cooper that he (Trump) would change his tone if elected president but then Trump laid a smackdown on Cooper and the mainstream media for their actions of always bringing up negatives before positives. Virtually, they drive the news in a way that people don’t trust what they have to say. This left Cooper almost speechless.
“The people don’t trust you,” Trump told Cooper. “And the people don’t trust the media and I understand why.”
Trump claimed that he had been treated fairly in the past by the financial media, but said that “60-70 percent of the political media is really, really dishonest.
