Playing from behind in the GOP nomination race, even the Brussels terrorist attack will not stop Sen. Ted Cruz from attacking Donald Trump on the campaign trail and a lot of people are actually tired of it.
Cruz took to the stage today to speak on the terrorist attack at a Brussels airport and it wasn’t before long he began to go after Trump. I might add that Cruz also was very loose with the truth.
Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack. Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it, hand ISIS a major victory.
Trump said none of those things that Cruz claims. Donald talked about a re-evaluation of our position in and funding of NATO to more optimally serve America’s interests. He did not say ‘let’s withdraw from the world and leave our allies to the wolves!’ Cruz might just as well have said that the Brussels attack was ALL Trump’s fault like he did in Chicago a couple of weeks ago.

@WayneDupreeShow I know. Did DT use the word retreat or abandon? It’s another example of TC twisting his words for his own gain.

@WayneDupreeShow remember. This is the same guy who sent out voter fraud forms and lied about carson getting out of the race.

@WayneDupreeShow I was trying to explain to Cruz person why we call Ted a liar and this is perfect example.

If Cruz were a true outsider, if he were a true American, his response would have been much much different I truly believe.
Forget your slim and slimmer chances of the GOP nomination for just a moment and be a human being for two seconds and speak with real empathy. People might like you more for it.
