Country Music Icon Suffers Devastating Loss! Please Pray!

Loretta Lynn

One of America’s beloved country music icons Loretta Lynn Lost her grandson on Monday. Lynn informed her Facebook followers on Wednesday of the devastating loss.

For those who follow country music, in 1984, Lynn lost a very important part of her family when one of her six children, Jack Benny Lynn, died. Jack went for a ride on his horse and never returned. He had tried to ford the Duck River near the farm, but the water was too rough, and he couldn’t make it. At the same time, Lynn was found unconscious and then hospitalized for exhaustion. Because of this, she wasn’t immediately told about her son’s untimely death.

These were touching.

When I lost my dad in 1997, it was a huge void, because I had realized that I would never be able to physically talk to him or ask him any questions. When you lose a family member, unless you have gone through it, there’s nothing like it. I pray for the Lynn family, and I pray they have comfort in this time of sorrow.
