DNC Admits: Cruz Announcement Sends Shiver Down Our Spines

Capture

In what was more likely an accidental admission, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) issued an e-mail to supporters indicating that a Ted Cruz campaign “sent shivers down” our spines.

It’s almost certain that the establishment GOP is also experiencing similar reactions.

Via Breitbart:

In what was clearly meant to be an attack on Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign, announced shortly after midnight, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) may have accidentally admitted that it’s worried about a Cruz GOP presidential campaign—noting in an email to supporters that his announcement “sent shivers down” their spines.

“If you’re like us, just reading that phrase probably sent shivers down your spine or produced a pretty serious roll of the eyes,” the DNC said in what it calls a “Factivist” email to supporters early on Monday. “But as of this moment, Texas Senator Ted Cruz is officially running for president, and if we don’t do everything in our power to stop him, the possibility of President Ted Cruz could become a reality.”

While the DNC is clearly being condescending in its e-mail, having a candidate like Cruz in the race will no doubt cause headaches for both parties.

Heaping scorn upon Cruz, whether it be the liberal media or the DNC or even establishment Republicans will likely not harm his candidacy. McCain referring to Cruz as a “whacko bird,” or the DNC trying to marginalize Cruz as a right-wing extremist will only further expand his credentials with a conservative base.

Here is a fantastic Ted Cruz for President video, followed by his campaign announcement …

What do you think of Cruz’ announcement that he is running for President? Do you think he has a chance of earning the GOP nomination?

The GOP actually has some very good candidates this election cycle. I like Cruz… but I also like Carson and Walker. I want to see how Cruz handles the leftist bullies, like I already know Scott Walker can in dealing with the Wisconsin Unions. And so far so good.

BrEnda , Senator Cruz wants to seal the borders so illegals can’t get across, then they will have to go through the legal channels and have their background checked . That will keep out the criminals and terrorists.
He want s to get the economy working so people will have jobs to support themselves and not depend so much on the government handouts. I live in Texas and have voted for him after checking into his background and his beliefs. And I will be voting for him again to be the next POTUS.

I need to know where he stands on key issues. Such as updating and protecting our power grid, upgrading our infrastructure, taxes, not cutting Social Security, illegal amnesty, closing our borders, ejecting unveted Muslims recent enter into our country, not allowing Sharia law in America and if he supports Israel! We definitely need a President that is fiscally responsible and that will uphold traditional moral values; the problem is that free loaders which are the majority keep voting for guys like Obama that give them “freebes” and run up the debt to pay for it! Let’s send all the dead beats to Cuba or whatever other Komi Country of their choice and let’s just keep those who want to work and make this Country great.
