What would you expect from Barack Obama’s appointments! There is a restroom for men and one for women. Read the sign on the door and go in the one you are supposed to be in and if dressed like a freak don’t scare anyone.
Tolerance is no longer good enough. Only full support of the LGBT lifestyle will keep a person from being labeled a bigot or homophobe. I think this in your face forcing of the LGBT lifestyle is causing the laws like North Carolina’s to be created. I could not care less who you walk hand in hand with, or what clothes you want to wear, but don’t keep forcing the 90%+ non-LGBT population that we need to change our lifestyle to support yours, and the US taxpayer to fund it.
The Department of Justice told North Carolina’s governor on Wednesday that a new state law limiting restroom access for transgender people violates the U.S. Civil Rights Act.
In a letter to Republican Governor Pat McCrory that was seen by Reuters, the Justice Department said the state was “engaging in a pattern or practice of discrimination against transgender state employees,” and it had until Monday to say whether it would remedy the violations.
McCrory’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but Republican state legislative leaders said the federal warning did not change their support for the measure.
In March, North Carolina became the first state in the country to require transgender people to use restrooms in public buildings and schools that match the sex on their birth certificate instead of one that matches their gender identity.
The law thrust North Carolina into the center of a debate over equality, privacy and religious freedom in the wake of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last year that legalized same-sex marriage.
State legislative leaders, who say the measure protects women and children from sexual predators in bathrooms, reiterated their support after the notice from Democratic President Barack Obama’s administration.
“This is a gross overreach by the Obama Justice Department that deserves to be struck down in federal court,” state Senate leader Phil Berger, a Republican, said in a statement.
The state must address the issue by this upcoming Monday or risk losing millions of dollars of federal funding.

What if I wake up tomorrow and feel like being white, Asian or Hispanic, etc, am I allowed to change my documents to any race I feel like becoming? This is insane and I see no end in site. Since SCOTUS opened the Pandora’s box, all sorts of vices must also be recognized and sanctioned by everybody. The society is getting sicker every day.
