Just as a broken clock tells the right time twice a day, so too does the Washington Post occasionally offer up a story worth reading… like this one.

Nothing special, right? Except that it was produced nearly 100 years ago… and has remained hidden in an Oklahoma school until contractors stepped in recently to renovate it.
They discovered dozens of creepy images on the chalkboards used by teachers and students while World War I was still raging:
Frozen in time, these chalkboard renderings show students with exceptional penmanship, and teachers dedicated to grammar, spelling, and mathematics.
Unlike today’s schools where the daily offerings are socialism, communism, and variations thereupon.
