Epic Rant: Why Should Burger-Flippers Earn More Than Our Brave Troops? (VIDEO)

Fox News pundit Eric Bolling has a strong message for the “3 stooges of the left” – Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher. Instead of raising the minimum wage for hamburger workers, let’s pay our troops more!

It’s time to wake up, America. The minimum wage debate shouldn’t be over the Big Mac server it should be over the Big Gun protectors of our freedom. We should be upping military pay by multiples rather than debating whether Johnnie should get 15 bucks an hour screw up my order to drive through. Why don’t we figure out a minimum wage for fast food workers than multiply it by a hundred because that’s what the military actually earns.

Do you agree with Bolling? Let us know in the comments.

I agree with Eric. Our Military is under paid, they should make make way more than thay. They are putting there life on the line for us. Obama, hates our Military, and Vets. I say they earn 100 times what they get. They also have family, to take care of. The hell with Bill Big mouth, and the rest of then. Put them over there with Isis.

Free clothes, free housing, free training, free college, free food, free medical…. it just goes on and on. Apples and oranges comparison, as the right usually does.

    1. Peter says:

Hey John this is not free. They pay with their lives while you sit in judgment for your of intelligence. Amazing You need to step off dude

  3. Trish says:

First off, why are our E1’s only making 8.65 and hour, Ca. state minimum wage is 9.00 an hour? Second, even though they are only making 8.65 an hour they get on top of their base pay, housing, food, clothing, medical, dental, optical, for themselves as well as their dependents, life insurance and 30 days paid vacation a year, once collocated it is far above the 15.00 an hour some workers in certain cites make. Eric needs to tell the whole and true story not his water downed poor E1’s get screwed more than minimum wage burger flippers.

  4. Terry says:

Let the burger flippers work their way up to higher paying jobs like everyone else and Pay the troops a living wage plus war zone and hazard bonus for those in harms way or hazardous duty jobs. The military has never had a decent wage and it is high time that changed. In 1967 I was married and in the Navy. My pay was $28 per month and was cut to $18 when my wife’s $100 per month allotment started. That was $118 between the two of us per month while trying to survive in Fla. for the first two years. I don’t think military pay is much better now with the prices now days. The military should get the money not burger flippers.

  5. Charlotte says:

If fast food workers make $15.00.00 an hour, they would have no incentive to get an college education. I totally agree with Eric, the Military should make the $15.00 an hour or more to protect American’s. Further more, all welfare recipients should have to work for assistance. We could have the cleanest streets in the world. That would also give them a reason to get an education, to make more money and live better…

  6. John says:

Just more of the insanity of our Politically-Correct, Progressive Liberal, Democratic-Socialists.

  7. Vernon says:

he is correct. But do you hear the military guys complain? Not really. we all would like to make more, but look at the young soldier that marries. He has to find a way to house and care for his family on little or no income and even with the help he does get by lower proces at the PX, BX, or what ever the slop chute is called these days, it still means the wife has to work just to make ends meet. Then again the soldier is often deployed and sometimes killed. But the Liberals want little Johnny and janie to make 15 bucks an hour so they can afford the i-pods, phones ( which Obama gives them free), and all the good stuff, plus whatever recreational drug they use. The world is upside down.

  8. Karl says:

There is a Reason, these type of Jobs are called Entry Lvl Jobs. These type of Jobs, are for People with Minimum or No Skills/Education to get a foot in the door. You have people with College Degrees who are starting out at $15 hr, what makes you think you should get that type of Money ?? You seriously don’t think Employers are going to eat the pay increase of their employees, and lose their Profit Margin ?? If you want that type of money, Go back to school and get an education or get a job and get some experience. All that the employers will do is Hire less People and Raise the Cost of all their products to compensate. The Price of everything will go up, Movie Tickets, Concert Tickets, Groceries, Car Gas, Drinks, etc all will go up. And Eric is 100% right on the money. How can you expect to get paid more than our men/women in uniform, who are getting their asses shot at everyday. And as Eric also said, Maybe, and I do mean Maybe, two out of every10 times I go through the drive through, will my order be right. So why would we reward you people when you cannot even do an Entry Lvl Job ???

  9. Tom says:

Well Politicians say that money is the issue! Well then, take it out of pay for dysfunctional Congress, Supreme Court Judges, Executive Department pay. But, DO NOT RAISE TAXES, because the purpose for raising taxes never sees the result of the tax increase!!!!!!! Congress needs NO more rope!!

  10. Irene says:

Eric is so right and these that want a big raise are just plain wrong.

  11. Blake says:

Okay I agree with what he’s saying he has just got some of his facts wrong. Privates E1 gets paid about 500 every two weeks. Hours greatly increase and decrease depending on what you are doing. So no they dont get paid that much what’s he’s talking about is the base pay. You only start making okay pay when you hit sergeant but then again with kids and a family it sometimes isn’t enough. We technically get paid salary so divide 1000 by how many hours are in a month and that’s what they get paid.

    1. Glenn says:

I agree with you. The basis that servicemen should probably be paid more is debateable, but even thought the base pay seems low, the benefits, at least when I was in the USAF 1991-1999 were great. I was an E-4, I don’t even remember what my base pay was, but with flight pay, free medical, free housing, no electric bills, etc., I was living somewhat comfortably with a wife and three kids as an E-4. Just rhetorical bs even from the “right”. Skewing facts pisses me off no matter which political affiliation you are. (And I am pretty far right.)

      1. Mark says:

Glenn, E4 after 8 years in, the pay isn’t good. Air Force life. Try being a grunt with three deployments, The free housing free electricity (none) and medical benefits in Afghanistan or Iraq aren’t that good. So that “rhetorical bs and fact skewing doesn’t wash. “Pretty far right” that’s the bs.

    2. Heather says:

He is also comparing apples to oranges. Hourly wage workers to salaried employees. Salaried employees who, by the by, are on the clock 24/7 with no overtime, extra duty, training all the time, and when we mess up an order, the CSM doesn’t just have a “talk” with us, we end up working more hours for free, get counseling statements, lose rank, pay, and benefits, etc. When we mess up, it is quite possible that someone could die. But those burger flippers … nah, they deserve to be given everything they’ve never earned or worked for.

  12. Kenny says:

Burger flippers are going to flip burgers… WITHOUT their $15.00.

  13. Heather says:

Hahahaha @ 1:08 … but we enjoy our jobs so darn much! Get some!

  14. Janeice says:

I totally agree with Eric, this should of been done back in 91.. pay our troops more, pay our troops more money!!!! (Iv never heard of a burger flipper getting ptsd….) why is it so hard to get our priorities straight in this country, for the love of pete!!!!

  15. Victoria says:

Why not cut the pay and vacation expenses of the Golfer-in-Chief and Moochie monkey mouth, then pass these dollars along where they belong? These two do nothing to for their lavish lifestyles. Our Military and their families give all for our Freedoms. I agree, it’s hard to live on minimum wage. But with the freebees getting everything for NOT working, it’s easier to stay home. I worked 3 jobs and went to college to make it. I did not get one dime of assistance. It’s all about how high you set your goals and how determined you are to make it!

  16. Mark says:

There is way more about what our military is lacking to get, or loses, than that. I am not getting into all of those discussion’s though.
What it does bring up is the fact that we have a person in the White House that has failed at his job miserably and will get not only $400k but have secret service protection that exceeds my entire Pension from the Navy after 30 years of service. Then to boot his wife wants wages also?!

  17. Zebbie says:

Yes I do agree with Eric!
