Former members of the television show The Apprentice, that was hosted by GOP front-runner Donald Trump, came out today to tell the world that they do not support his bid for the White House.
You know Trump is the right person to be President when the media and both corrupt parties are working to stop him. Trump has all the bought and paid for puppets scared to death.
This is nothing but a smear campaign.
This is truly laughable, and pathetic…all three of these people were winners in life because of Donald Trump! And now they want to be in the limelight again, so it’s bashing the hand that fed you!! I have to wonder how much money and what special favors that they are receiving behind closed doors to do this?
A handful of former contestants from Donald Trump’s reality show ‘The Apprentice’ say the Republican front-runner should not be president.
Half a dozen past hopefuls of the hit show, including Season 4 winner Randal Pinkett and Season 1 runner-up Kwame Jackson, are planning a press conference Friday in New York to denounce the GOP front-runner’s bid ahead of the state’s April 19 primary.
In statements, the contestants slammed Trump’s rhetoric as divisive and accused him of running a ‘campaign of sexism, xenophobia, racism, violence and hate.’
The six former reality show stars will claim that a great deal of Trump’s conversation has been divisive and extremely dangerous for America.
‘Trump is passionately and strategically reigniting a dirty and divisive culture soaked in a history of prejudice, fear and hate. It is unpatriotic, anti-American, self-serving, regressive and downright lazy,’ said Marshawn Evans Daniels in a statement.
Trump responded the only way he knows how. Check out this classic:
‘How quickly they forget,’ he said in the statement. ‘Nobody would know who they are if it weren’t for me.’
The Apprentice is where so many people have gotten the impression that Trump is a successful businessman who never fails. His stardom and his abrasive but entertaining personality were what gave him unlimited media access at his discretion which he used to further the impression he knew what he was talking about.
His experience with high ratings on his show and his observations of what character traits caused contestants to rise in popularity gave him his model for behavior on the campaign trail.
I wonder what percentage of his strongest supporters were Apprentice fans? That show used to draw 20 million or more viewers every week for years.
