Game Change? ESPN Host Asks All Black Voters to Support Republicans

In 2012, 93% of black voters cast their ballots for President Barack Obama. And there’s no sign — yet — that the Democrats’ stranglehold on the African-American vote is going to ease anytime soon. You have to go back all the way to the Eisenhower Administration to find an election where the GOP seriously competed for black voters.

And that’s got at least one person mad — ESPN host Stephen A. Smith, who, when speaking at Vanderbilt University, argued that all black voters should support Republicans, even for just a single election.

Why? So that the Dems no longer take the black vote for granted — which they do right now.
