Newt Gingrich BLASTS FBI’s Comey And He’s 100% Right For Doing So!

Gingrich Comey

Former Speaker Of the House Newt Gingrich blasted FBI Director James Comey’s leadership of the Hillary Clinton email server/national security scandal, and you could tell he was quite angry at the way things have turned out.

Comey allowed members of the Clinton team to get immunity; the very ones would the case was built around which allowed Hillary to walk without charges or prosecution.

Gingrich compared this investigation with the 1973 Watergate scandal saying Comey would have covered up that up as well.

From The Hill:

Newt Gingrich says FBI Director James Comey’s handling of Hillary Clinton shows he would have hidden the Watergate scandal.

“If Comey had been FBI director in 1973, Watergate would never have happened because he would have covered it up,” he said on “The Mike Gallagher Show” Wednesday.

“You see the first clear, visible corruption at the FBI,” the former GOP House Speaker added. “Comey is the agent, and it’s sad. It’s going to destroy his career.”Gingrich said the FBI’s treatment of Clinton shows the nepotism that would dominate her possible presidency.

“By the way, [it] tells you what a Clinton administration would be like,” he said of the Democratic presidential nominee’s potential administration.

“It will be the most corrupt administration in American history, which I find frightening. Having that corrupt of a commander in chief could dramatically weaken the fabric of American society.”

President Richard Nixon ultimately resigned in 1974 over the Watergate scandal.

Nixon left office over his administration’s role in covering up a break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Comey has faced criticism for the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server as Secretary of State.

Can anyone explain why the Department of Justice granted immunity to five of Clinton’s aides and staffers if no charges were filed FIRST (or ever)? What kind of prosecution is that?

It’s almost like people were working in concert to clear this entire incident to begin a clean slate. I know many Americans feel like that and to have Speaker Gingrich sound off publicly means so much because his voice carries so much weight.
