Glen Campbell’s Final Song Will Break Your Heart (VIDEO)

Country music legend Glen Campbell has released his final single, and the music video is both impressive and sad.

As he’s been fighting Alzheimer’s since 2011, the video combines pictures of his incredible career with lyrics written to his wife, Kim Woollen. The topic of the song is… Because of the disease, he will never have to suffer the pain of missing her.

With Glen Campbell, America is losing a talented artist to a terrible disease.

Glenn Cambell will always be remembered and loved for his Music , by His Family Friends and Fans . This song brings home to people the sad plight of all Alzheimer Sufferers ? Hope fully ONE day there may be a Cure for this illness . I hope Glenn is still playing his Guitar and singing his songs when that day comes around Long live the Rhine stone Cowboy .

The real tragedy is that the person we knew is still in there to some degree and occasionally emerges like a time traveller to a reality completely changed from what they remember from the last lucid moment. Alas, there is nothing we can do to anticipate their needs, other than to smile and nod and speak neutral word of agreement/encouragement and wait for the disease to envelope them again.
