For as much as Hillary Clinton talked (without evidence) about Russia trying to influence the election, she took one hell of a lot of foreign money in her past. Her Clinton Foundation has taken over $25 million from Saudi Arabia, a nation that carries out the death penalty for homosexuals (which Hillary didn’t seem to mind when taking their money). She’s also taken millions from Qatar – despite the fact that we know thanks to her leaked emails that she believed both those nations to be funding ISIS.
How moral! According to Zero Hedge, it wasn’t just the Clinton Foundation that the Saudis were throwing money at. According to their estimates, by the time her campaign had raised $211.8 million, 20 percent, or $42.2 million came from the Saudis. In total however, she had over a billion dollars raised for her campaign – and she lost.
Meanwhile, how much money did Trump need to pull off his historic feat?
Hillary Clinton and her supporters spent a record $1.2 billion for her losing presidential campaign — twice as much as the winner, Donald Trump, according to the latest records.
The president-elect, who confounded critics during the campaign by saying there was no need to raise or spend $1 billion or more, ended up making do with $600 million.
Clinton’s expensive machine tore through $131.8 million in just the final weeks, finishing with about $839,000 on hand as of Nov. 28.
Team Trump spent $94.5 million in the home stretch — from Oct. 20 to Nov. 28 — and had $7.6 million left.
The figures include all spending by the campaigns, PACs and party committees.
Trump contributed $66 million from his own pocket, $34 million less than he estimated he would shell out.
It was her election to win – and she still lost! All the money in the world couldn’t have helped her – and it should serve as a reminder that people are fed up with liberalism. I suppose that makes one thing we can thank eight years of Barack Obama for.
