Heartbreaking: The Moment Dying K-9 Dog Is Saluted by Cops

k-9

It’s the tribute every hero deserves — including those on four legs.

Brave cops in Woolwich Township, New Jersey, lined the entrance to the Swedesboro Animal Hospital to salute Judge, a nine year-old German Shepherd, and former member of the K-9 unit, when he arrived at the building to be put to sleep.

According to the Daily Mail,  Judge was suffering multiple health problems, and though the community had raised $13,000 for his vet care, it was decided to end his life.

During his years of service, Judge assisted in over 150 arrests, as well as the seizure of drugs and guns.

So long, Judge. Thank you for your service.

I have to agree with Diana. The money was donated so why couldn’t they make his final days comfortable living with his handler like so many others? What did they do with the money?
