Barack Obama’s resume prior to his presidential election isn’t really something to write home about. After all, it’s hard to flesh out ‘community organizer’ to the point where it actually shows some sort of work ethic.
After all, how does one turn this into work history:
Obama was a Senator of course, prior to his election, but we all know he was rarely ever ‘present’ to do his job.
So it’s no surprise that legendary comedian, Tim Allen, of the show Last Man Standing, took a shot at the President’s work history.
And he got a little help from another legend – Jay Leno.

Legendary comic Jay Leno has been cracking jokes with President Barack Obama as the punch line for years, so it was not surprising to find Leno as a guest star on Tim Allen’s sitcom Last Man Standing on Friday doing what he’s good at, making fun of Obama. The latest dig at Obama came on an episode titled “Mike and the Mechanics.” The two, in character on the show, were using a bit of self-deprecating humor poking fun at themselves. Leno was playing the character of Joe, a mechanic friend of Mike’s.
Mike: Hey, wait, wait. You actually wanted to be a comedian? Then what’s the job you get after that? Like, a talk show host?
Joe: Sure. Why not? You get to talk to beautiful women, you sit behind a desk, and you work, what, an hour a day?
Mike: You’re right. That’s some kind of job. You’d have to be an idiot to walk away from that kind of job.
Joe: Still better than being stuck on some stupid sitcom.
As the credits were rolling after the show, Allen cracked “So, if you’re a young person who’s not exactly sure where life is taking you, that’s OK.”
He added, “You know, we can’t all be Barack Obama and have our first job be president.”
Here’s a short clip of Allen destroying “King Obama” on his show in an earlier episode:
