Here’s the deal, I do not care about tax returns! We all know you can’t run for office unless you have lots of money, and I do not want to know what rich people spend their money on… because I can’t do anything when I learn the information.
We are all aware that the wealthy people take every tax break available and then some. We all know that some are more charitable than others! It is a given that everyone knows about the taxes, give us a break.
But there is one thing money can’t buy, and that is good health. I think it should be an absolute requirement for candidates to release their medical records. If we are going to vote for someone, I want to know they are healthy enough to do the job. I think it is becoming very apparent Hillary Clinton is not, and it is getting harder for her to hide that fact!
Who cares about tax returns, that’s not who I’m voting for. I would, however, like Hillary Clinton to release her medical records. I believe she has a grave medical problem related to her concussion. She also doesn’t appear to have the energy to handle the office of president.
And it looks like the majority of registered voters side with me in this latest Rassmussen report:
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 67% of Likely U.S. Voters think all presidential candidates should release at least their most recent tax returns to the public, although that’s down slightly from 73% who felt that way a year ago. Just 23% disagree. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
In July 2012 during the last presidential race, only six percent (6%) thought the release of the most recent year’s tax return was enough. Twenty-nine percent (29%) felt returns from the most recent two years were necessary, while 60% wanted to see more than that.
But 59% of voters also now believe all major presidential candidates should release at least their most recent medical records to the public. That’s up dramatically from 38% in May 2014 when questions about Clinton’s health were first being raised. Thirty percent (30%) don’t think candidates should have to release their recent medical records, while 11% are undecided.
When someone is running for President, all that info and more should be open to the public. I don’t understand when people say it is no one’s business. It’s everyone’s business when you are running for president. When you run for an office like that, there is no privacy, nor should there be. Everything they do and have done is our business when they are president. Even though I don’t care about Trump’s taxes, he should release them.
And Hillary simply must release her health records.
