The note was shared by Redditor Labuzan, after his teenagers repeatedly refused to put their dirty dishes in the dishwasher. As many parents can relate, the note was a clever, last-ditch effort to get them to clean up after themselves.
The hilarious note, derived from Liam Neeson’s famous lines in “Taken,” read:
I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clear up for you, I can tell you I don’t do that.
But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long lifetime. Skills that make me an expert in home WiFi systems and cellular data plans.
If you clean up your own kitchen mess that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you.
But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you…AND I WILL DISCONNECT YOU.
After user Labuzan wrote out his hilarious form of discipline, he taped it above his kitchen sink – to kindly remind his teenagers to pick up after themselves. If they don’t, they will be disconnected from the Internet.
The note will surely give his children chills. Will you be following his lead using this as a form of punishment? I have to say, it’s not a bad idea – maybe it’s the solution to today’s troublesome teenagers.
