Exit polls are an imperfect way of gauging support for candidates and different issues.
They ask a random sample of voters which candidate they supported and then how they feel about a number of issues.
In a few states, Republican voters were asked about their views on illegal immigration and the results are surprising
Should “illegal immigrants working in US” b offered legal status? GOP voters in exits: NH 56% yes, SC 53%, VA 59%, GA 53%. (Not asked IA/NV)

Shocking considering the front-runner is running primarily on STOPPING illegal immigration.
What does this mean for Trump moving forward? Stay Tuned!
