UFC Bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey had a decisive victory over Bethe Correia last weekend that lasted only 34 seconds. While doing the press circuit following her incredible win, Rousey faced off with a female journalist who was trying to get Ronda to whine about the gender pay gap and complain that the men made more money.
Except, Ronda isn’t a whiner. She hit back at the interview by stating that she was very happy with her income and hadn’t put enough time in to demand the same amounts as long time legends, like Floyd Mayweather.
“I don’t like to talk about exactly how much money I make, but I’m extremely comfortable and happy. And if I got to a point where I had almost fifty fights, I would probably be making close to the same amount of money as Floyd does, but at this point I have eleven, so I can’t expect it to be exactly equal, I think. I have to put more time in.”
