BUSTED: Obama Caught Lying To The American People AGAIN!

Iran ransom

Barack Obama has been caught in yet another lie.

A new scandal was brought to light when it was uncovered that Iran had received a $400 million payment right as four American hostages they held were released. This naturally drew speculation that the money was a ransom payment, buying the freedom of those prisoners for $100 million a head. Obama denied any such link.

Obama’s narrative was questioned though – by one of the hostages themselves. Saeed Abidini told FOX Business weeks ago that he and the other hostages were brought to an airport, where they were told they would wait 20 minutes for the plane that would bring them home.

Instead, they ended up waiting overnight, coincidentally leaving right as another plane arrived. Abidini speculated that this was the plane carrying the alleged random.

Now, thanks to the Wall Street Journal, we have confirmation that those hostages weren’t freed until Iran did receive a ransom payment.

New details of the $400 million U.S. payment to Iran earlier this year depict a tightly scripted exchange specifically timed to the release of several American prisoners held in Iran, based on accounts from U.S. officials and others briefed on the operation.

U.S. officials wouldn’t let Iranians take control of the money until a Swiss Air Force plane carrying three freed Americans departed from Tehran on Jan. 17, the officials said. Once that happened, an Iranian cargo plane was allowed to bring the cash back from a Geneva airport that day, according to the accounts.

President Barack Obama and other U.S. officials have said the payment didn’t amount to ransom, because the money was owed by the U.S. to Iran as part of a longstanding dispute linked to a failed arms deal from the 1970s. U.S. officials have said that the prisoner release and cash transfer took place through two separate diplomatic channels.

But the handling of the payment and its connection to the release of the Americans have raised questions among lawmakers and administration critics.

What ever happened to “we don’t negotiate with terrorists?” Not only did we negotiate with them (the Iran Nuclear Deal), we’re paying them $100 million a hostage?

What else has Obama lied to us about? History will tell.
