What the Left Doesn’t Want You to Know About Trump’s Muslim Ban

Donald Trump implemented a toned-down version of his Muslim ban – and liberals are freaking out. “The man is just like Hitler after all” they inform us, as if they haven’t compared anyone they disagree with to Hitler since WWII.

Chuck Schumer then pulled a Boehner and publicly cried following the news.

So it must be a pretty extreme policy Trump just put into effect, right? Not so much.

To specify the details of Trump’s executive order implementing the alleged Muslim ban, here they are, courtesy of the National Review:

First, the order temporarily halts refugee admissions for 120 days to improve the vetting process, then caps refugee admissions at 50,000 per year. Outrageous, right? Not so fast. Before 2016, when Obama dramatically ramped up refugee admissions, Trump’s 50,000 stands roughly in between a typical year of refugee admissions in George W. Bush’s two terms and a typical year in Obama’s two terms.

Second, the order imposes a temporary, 90-day ban on people entering the U.S. from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. These are countries either torn apart by jihadist violence or under the control of hostile, jihadist governments.

Third, Trump’s order also puts an indefinite hold on admission of Syrian refugees to the United States “until such time as I have determined that sufficient changes have been made to the USRAP to ensure that admission of Syrian refugees is consistent with the national interest.” This is perhaps the least consequential aspect of his order — and is largely a return to the Obama administration’s practices from 2011 to 2014. For all the Democrats’ wailing and gnashing of teeth, until 2016 the Obama administration had already largely slammed the door on Syrian-refugee admissions.

Hilariously, Trump didn’t even name the seven nations that were included in the temporary ban – Obama did.

And what does every single one of those nations (with the exception of Somalia) have in common? They don’t allow Israeli passport holders into their countries.

It appears that “Islamophobia” is just a term to describe what happens when Muslims are treated the way they treat non-Muslims in their own countries.

Why aren’t any of the countries where Trump has business interests included in his ban?
Also, the terrorists from the San Bernadino and Orlando shootings, who killed hundreds of American citizens, weren’t from any of these countries -THEY WERE US CITIZENS, BORN HERE

Big question- why isn’t our government and the of the ” friendliest that are left after Obama” NOT taking away George Soros, the Clintons and everyone else power who are supporting the riots and undermining America? I’m for less government not more, but for hell’s sake, stop the Obama/Clinton cartel from operating in country.
