A month after the election, Donald Trump’s approval is high for a new President-elect.
His favorability rating sits at 50 percent, according to a national Bloomberg poll out Friday. That’s near Obama’s, which is 53.6 percent, according to Real Clear Politics.
He hasn’t become President yet – but so far, so good. He negotiated a deal with Carrier to save 1,000 jobs, secured a $50 billion investment in America which will create 50,000 jobs from Japan’s SoftBank, and the stock market has rallied. Out of 21 days since the election, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has reached all time closing highs 13 of these days. On another five of these days, the Dow landed at its second highest close ever up to that date.
