Aside from the fact that liberals struggle mightily to understand concepts of cause and effect when it comes to raising the minimum wage to $15/hr – mainly that doing so will cause companies to make less profit, and affect their employees by reducing hours or eliminating jobs – they are noted hypocrites when it comes to their own demands.
Such is the case of Working Families, an organization dedicated to ‘fighting’ for ‘fair wages.’ They stand up for a $15/hr wage, but don’t necessarily want to pay that rate.
Observe the hypocrisy (H/T Save Jersey):

No, that’s not a joke or a photo-shopped image. Yes, that is a real screenshot of a real discussion (on Facebook) that I had with a real Democrat/Union-backed organization about the state of the job market for a paid promoter of the #15NOW movement.
Let that sink in for a moment… I’ll wait.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think that at best it is ironic that a person should be asked to accept “less than a livable wage” to talk publicly about how terrible that wage is.
At worst, it is a glaring example of hypocrisy and holier-than-thou obstructionism (with the added bonus of union compression wage hikes).
If anything less than $15 per hour is unlivable and amounts to being paid ‘poverty wages,’ why is a liberal organization like this paying their new employees less?
