‘Making a Murderer’ Star Wants This Famous Actor to Play Him in Movie!

Making A Murderer brad pitt

I watched the “Making A Murderer” documentary on Wednesday night and learned of the torture Steven Avery had to endure at the hands of law enforcement in Wisconsin. He was not a saint by any means but he was railroaded twice and nobody should have to go through that.

Well, now Steven Avery has revealed that he wants Hollywood star Brad Pitt to play him if a movie is made about his life.

Avery, who’s family is huge in those parts, had a reputation of being a partier, but not a killer. He went away for a sexual assault charge which was overturned years later, after he maintained his innocence. Then he was put away for murder.

The law wanted to get him but they couldn’t hide the truth from surfacing about how they had the wrong man each time.

From Daily Mail:

Making A Murderer’s Steven Avery has spoken out for the first time in a broadcast interview – and revealed he’d like Brad Pitt to play him in a move about his life.

Avery, 54, and his new fiancée Lynn Hartman, 53, have opened up in an exclusive interview with Dr Phil that will air next week.

Hartman, an attractive legal secretary from Las Vegas, got engaged to Avery after eight months of speaking over the phone – but met in person for the first time just two weeks ago.

She said she is convinced of his innocence – and Avery, who has been engaged multiple times before, insists it’s ‘different’ this time.

He was convicted in 2007 of the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach along with his teenage nephew Brendan Dassey, now 26.

The case became a global phenomenon after it was re-examined in a hit Netflix documentary that began streaming in December last year.

It sparked petitions after the ten-part series laid out flaws in the investigation of Halbach’s murder and questioned both Avery and Dassey’s convictions.

Recently, Dassey had his conviction overturned – but Avery, who has always maintained his innocence, remains behind bars.

On Dassey’s conviction being overturned, Avery said: ‘The truth is coming out and sooner or later all the truth will come out.’

This documentary is outstanding as it has grabbed the attention of hundreds of thousands of people in this nation and exposed the problems with our justice system. The appalling story of what happened to Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey makes you realize that it could happen to you or somebody you love if you’re at the hands of a corrupt police force and corrupt courts, judges, DA, etc.
