It is with deep regret that we inform you that award-winning actress Mia Farrow just lost her adopted son Thaddeus at the age of 27.
Thaddeus was tragically killed in a car crash in Connecticut.
From Fox News:
State police say Thaddeus Farrow was found Wednesday afternoon in Roxbury with a life-threatening injury and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Officials say there appeared to be no criminal aspect to his death and did not release additional details. An autopsy to determine the cause of death is planned.
State police say Thaddeus Farrow lived in Torrington, about a 24-mile drive from where he was found on a road Wednesday. Public records show he lived at his mother’s property until a few years ago.
The actress adopted Thaddeus Farrow, who contracted polio in an orphanage in Kolkata, India, and was paralyzed from the waist down.
Mia Farrow has 11 living children – four biological and seven adopted. Thaddeus’ reported death would be the third adopted child she has lost.
“It was scary to be brought to a world of people whose language I did not understand, with different skin colors,” he said. “The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Farrow’s entire family during this tragic time!
