Almost a year to the today, childhood Actor/Director Scott Baio endorsed Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, who had thrown his hat into the GOP Presidential sweepstakes. Walker soon bolted the process a few months after that, and Baio was left watching the Donald Trump attack series via the major TV networks.
Baio is well known for his recurring role on Happy Days as Chachi, the nephew of the Fonz and many other acting roles that shaped his career. Now, he’s an outspoken conservative in the land were it could be a death sentence for your career if you speak too loudly.
Hey, he just made a monumental tough choice to help shape the country, and he did it publicly. He has more guts than the rest of Hollywood and we applaud him for that.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
Telling Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro that Trump “speaks like I speak,” Baio said that he is “fed up” with Republicans and now considers himself a conservative independent, but values Trump’s forthrightness.
“It’s very simple, because when he speaks I understand him,” Baio told Pirro. “He speaks like I speak, he communicates with people very well. I want him, as any one person can do, to go into Washington and blow it up.”
“They’re going to attack whomever the Republican nominee is,” he said, “and we need somebody to relentlessly, relentlessly attack Hillary. It’s the only way we’re going to win. I’m trying to be a classy guy, but to win elections nowadays, the Democrats and liberals attack viciously.”

An important point that Baio made was when he said Trump speaks to me and will in simple terms and direct to the point. Funny, how the media and pundits say Trump is no communicator. Remember that Trump has captivated blue collar workers the very heart and soul of this nation. Blacks, Whites all races are among those and Trump realizes that the Middle class is hurting most of all.
America needs to feel it is secure and economically sound, and Trump, being the mastermind that he is, sees a way to turn this nation around and on a course to real prosperity.
