Names can be misleading. The King Cobra isn’t a cobra, the American Buffalo is a bison, the flying lemur can’t fly – and MTV, Music Television, doesn’t do anything related to music.
Instead, they’ve re-branded as “MTV News,” and decided to cater to social-justice style liberalism. In effect, they’ve left a dying market for an over-saturated one. After all, how many liberal networks already exist? Practically all mainstream networks you see on television have a leftward slant, with the exception of Fox News. And guess what? People are sick of being demonized by know-nothing liberal elites.
In a video posted to their YouTube channel (then removed, reuploaded, and removed again), MTV employees gave “2017 New Years resolutions for white guys,” which is just as condescending as you can imagine. Had “white” been substituted with any other race, the race-baiters at MTV would be crying racism.
MTV released a short video titled “2017 Resolutions for White Guys.” Among the suggestions, some of which were articulated by white folks who seemed plucked from the junior versions of Prairie Home Companion and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir: “Try to recognize that America was never ‘great’ for anyone who wasn’t a white guy”; “Blue Lives Matter isn’t a thing”; “stop bragging about being ‘woke’; “feel free to take Kanye West…(you know what you did, Kanye)”; “learn what ‘mansplaining’ is, then stop doing it”; “just because you have black friends doesn’t mean you’re not racist”; and more.
Think it’s insane? So do most people – as the internet has been devouring MTV.
MTV's racist "white men video" was a viral hit. That's all the left sells – hatred. No other message. No vision. No life. A cult of death.

MTV release disgusting video lumping all "white guys" together as some kind of pantomime villain. Apparently this brand of racism is okay. https://t.co/ScZvaAz9qg
