MUST WATCH: Sylvester Stallone Announces: “I Have Surrendered My Life to Jesus Christ”

Sylvester Stallone always plays the tough guy in movies. But his biggest hit – Rocky (and all the sequels) – contains strong allegory to Christ. And that’s not by accident!

Watch (below) as Stallone explains on the 700 Club how he wrote the story to that movie in 3 days, and is convinced God helped him do it. He goes on to proclaim that he has “has surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ.”

He has much to be thankful for, and has put his God-given talents to good use. With so much of Hollywood dominated by the secular left, it is a shame that Sylvester Stallone’s bold stance for Christian values isn’t reported by the media.

God bless Mr. Stallone. Rocky Balboa was my favorite Rocky film.

  2. LastManOnTheWall says:

The Left ignores salvation through Jesus Christ altogether. But progressives know who makes the professions, and they simply wait. They wait hoping upon hope that the individual does something wrong, makes a gaffe, or falls into some kind of sin, and then they pounce! The Left has no interest in lives salvaged and redeemed, but it glories in the failures, hypocrisies and misdeeds of Christians. Their actions belie the deep hatred they have for Christianity, the Bible, Jesus Christ and followers of Christ.

It is not for us to judge this but embrace Rocky’s mention of it lifting up Jesus Christ before the world. Nothing hidden God knows Sylvester Stallone’s intentions and that’s where the true judgment will/should take place. I am trying to get movement from the Christian church to enrich their youth/teen/family ministries involving the overwhelming excitement awarded through playing KHWIKBALL. I want CHRISTIANS to get the recognition in this and the glory given. It’s seems so difficult to get the church to hear the knock unless it is celebrity status so at least a blessing toward the faith of Christianity, if anything, for this confession by Sylvester Stallone reaching out. No one really knows the level of faith within another but God Himself. I wish that rather than simply ignore a knocking at their door that the Christian body would open eyes to the possibilities and rewards when God sends His own to deliver. What a blessing it would be to get a celebrity status like Sylvester Stallone to open another door with lifting up KHWIKBALL through his play if he could be reached he would answer the door of another with my knocking? This is where I believe God calls His own to support what He sends but more often than not the church either doesn’t hear or never takes any action unless it’s from within their own church boundaries or agenda. I don’t think we should judge or be so critical as much as do but allow more to happen through accepting and then following those doing the knocking at the door and allow God to move more working together His way for His glory. The media is not God fearing and we know this. Dust off our feet from them and move forward in supporting our own. God makes this so easy for us to do but then enemy takes hold and stops us far more often then we should ever allow. In conclusion I leave you all with this. KHWIKBALL is so exciting, fun and the benefits tremendous. I want to start CHRISTIAN movement with this game/sport I invented and I open it up to you. Let’s get the church body moving in my launch support this good work and watch God move us through all this. http://www.khwikball.com Help me spread the word and lift up Christians together. Church gyms, anywhere outdoors and including Khwikball play at Christian concerts. Give thought and pray about this and the movement to be seen and shared. CHRISTIANTY being lifted up before the world. Truly, I ask when God knocks on our door what should we do? Our peace is knowing as He sends He is watching all and with putting our doubts in His hands. Who better than us should know the penalties for anyone coming in His name being false? This is my work given. Scott Cloran, Khwikball Inventor

    1. Larry says:

Shame he uses GUNS in his movies and is Anti- Second Amendment..com NOT A GOOD CHRISTIAN VALUE

      1. alan says:

        Not true at all

  4. Barbara says:

I’d be willing to bet that if this were a story about a MUSLIM the media would’ve been all over it! But mention JESUS and the whole U.S.A. media crawls into their rat holes and ignores it! HEY MEDIA! JESUS ACTUALLY CAME TO ME BACK IN THE 80’s AND I HAVE THE REAL STORY! IT WAS MY DIVINE INTERVENTION THAT GARTH BROOKS ACTUALLY STOLE AND MONOPOLIZED BECAUSE THEY ALL DIDN’T WANT A WOMAN IN THE ENTIRE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY WITH ALL THE DIVINE WRITING KNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE! YOU CAN CALL THAT “SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND INTIMIDATION AND OPPRESSION OF MY RIGHTS” BECAUSE OF HOW THEY TOLD CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS WHAT TO LIE TO ME ABOUT! OH AND BTW, JESUS BREATHED INTO ME HIS ACTUAL PROVERBS OF LIVING! NOW RESPOND TO THAT!

  5. Bill says:

    take him at his word
    the end is near

  6. Dirk says:

It’s one thing to claim it, it is another to live it.
Mt 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Mt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

    1. Lisa says:

Dirk-how do you know he is not living it? We do not know. And Larry..seriously? because he uses guns in his movie you make the judgement he is not showing a good Christian value. People how about assuming the best not the worst. And lifting him up in prayer that he will live for Christ fully.

    2. Jon says:

Jesus also commanded us “if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.” – Luke 22:36 Having a gun for self defense is not the same as “living by the sword”.

  7. Patty says:

God Bless him. It’s good to hear his testimony and for him to say he owes it all to God. Many more blessings for you Mr. Stalone.
