Must Watch Video: Notorious Anti-Semitic Politician Loses Reelection

Readers of this site probably remember George Galloway, the feisty Scottish socialist infamous for his love of Arab dictatorships.

He first came to prominence when he greeted Iraqi tyrant Saddam Hussein in the run up to the Iraq War with the words: “Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability, and I want you to know that we are with you.”

A real charmer, amarite? Oh, and in between representing his constituents in parliament, he also found time to enter the reality TV show Big Brother, where he stunned the nation with his impression of a cat:

Well, I’ve got bad news for you — the good people of Bradford West, the town he represented in Parliament, decided to kick him out in last week’s election, presumably because they thought his cat impression was so terrible he needed time to work on it.

Here’s the wonderful moment Galloway realized he’d lost:

Thanks Bradford! You’ve made us all believe in democracy again!
