The Associated Press asked multiple celebrities about the alleged ‘gun violence’ problem in America.
When they got to pro football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, a man best known by his nickname ‘Prime Time’ for his ability to perform in the spotlight, his answer had to leave anti-second amendment liberals in a tizzy.
“I don’t think that guns are picking up themselves and pulling triggers on [their] own,” Sanders told the reporter.
“People are doing that,” he said.
“It says more about people than it says about guns.”
Prime Time went further …
Via The Blaze:
“I’m not an advocate of ignorance or violence whatsoever,” he continued, “but we really need to look at people.”
Sanders added that inner-city gun violence occurs “on a daily basis” and that solving that problem is as important as figuring out how to stop gun violence outside the inner city.
Now that’s a healthy dose of reality right there.
Sanders is the third of four celebrities to answer the question in the clip below …
The comments appearing on the AP’s YouTube page were overwhelmingly supportive of Sanders’ comments.
“Deion is the man!” read one response.
Others said he was “well spoken” and “spot on” with his response.
