Four days after a radical Islamist sympathizer open fired in Chattanooga, killing four Marines and one Naval officer, the country has been waiting to hear their Commander-in-Chief give the word to lower flags at half-staff to honor the fallen.
We’re still waiting.
5 people died in chattanooga and how many flags did Obama order to be half mast? 0. He ordered none, and people still have respect for him?

Mayor Sal Panto Jr. of Easton, PA, admits that he doesn’t have the authority to make the call on lowering the flag, so what did he do?
Lowered it anyway.
Via Lehigh Valley Live:
Sal Panto Jr. says it wasn’t an act of defiance.
It was simply the right thing to do, he said.
Panto, Easton’s mayor, drove to Centre Square after 1 a.m. Saturday and lowered the American flag to half-staff.
He did so to honor the four Marines killed in a shooting at a military support center in Chatanooga, Tennessee. A fifth victim, a U.S. sailor, later died.
Panto said he was prompted by a Facebook request from city resident Peggy Cochran, whose husband Pete is a city firefighter and who has two sons in the Marine Corps.
He was also willing to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt, saying he probably “just forgot.”
If that’s the president’s excuse, it’s a flimsy one at best.
Still, Obama just “needed a little reminder and I’m happy to do that,” Panto explained.
He added that he would either have the flag raised at some point today, or until somebody “threatens arrest or fines” him.
Comment: Should the mayor have lowered the flags to half-staff to honor our fallen service members? Why do you think Obama hasn’t ordered the flags be lowered yet?
