OUTRAGEOUS! Army Dad Turned Away From School for “Offensive” Uniform

Lieutenant Colonel Sherwood Baker was stopped from entering Rochester Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan by a security guard.

Why? Because he was wearing a uniform.

Baker’s wife said:

“The security guard stopped him and said sorry you’re not allowed in the school. Security told him men and women in uniform weren’t allowed because it may offend another student.”

Baker was on his way to speak with the school’s counselor about his daughter’s class schedule. He has served for 24 years.

The school district superintendent quickly apologized, and said the district will be working with the firm that handles school security.

In what reality in America is wearing an Army uniform offensive?

I really sympathize with Lieutenant Colonel Sherwood Baker on being ousted by a foolish guard. The guard and the school should be penalized and punished well.Uniform must be respected not insulted.

  2. Vickie says:

    Idiocy run amuck.

  3. Proud says:

So outraged on how this administration and Obama treat our military. They are ashamed and hate our U.S. soldiers but go out of their way to make sure Muslims, illegals, etc. are treated well and not offended! It’s just not the U.S.A I grew up loving. Things have drastically changed now. We shove aside, silence American citizens and Christians while illegals, Muslims, Gays, and Atheists are given free rein!

  4. Mary says:

this just amazes me why would this guard even think of turning a person in uniform away

  5. Brenna says:

Security guard and company should be terminated and apologies from both issued to this American soldier. IMMEDIATELY.

  6. Stuart says:

I would have spit in the guards face and walked right by. What is this country coming to? If it offends anyone they need to go far away!
