Lieutenant Colonel Sherwood Baker was stopped from entering Rochester Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan by a security guard.
Why? Because he was wearing a uniform.
Baker’s wife said:
“The security guard stopped him and said sorry you’re not allowed in the school. Security told him men and women in uniform weren’t allowed because it may offend another student.”
Baker was on his way to speak with the school’s counselor about his daughter’s class schedule. He has served for 24 years.
The school district superintendent quickly apologized, and said the district will be working with the firm that handles school security.
In what reality in America is wearing an Army uniform offensive?
