Former Vice-Presidential candidate and Alaska governor, Sarah Palin appeared on Sean Hannity’s show last night and weighed in on the conservative effort to oust John Boehner from his leadership role in the House.
Today’s vote to elect the Speaker of the House has become interesting of late, with alternative candidates emerging, conservative members voicing their intentions to vote against Boehner, and a prominent conservative group jumping into the effort to oust the current leader.
Now, Sarah Palin has offered her own thoughts on Boehner’s resumé as Speaker, referring to his way of governing in opposition to his own campaigning as “a turnoff” and “unethical.”
Via Gateway Pundit:
Sarah Palin joined Sean Hannity tonight in calling on Republican House members to replace Speaker John Boehner.
The former governor took it a step further saying John Boehner was “unethical.”
“Well I think Speaker Boehner unfortunately didn’t listen to many of us who all along were saying, you know, when you campaign one way and govern another way, man that’s a turnoff. And, really it’s unethical. And, we don’t have to put up with that.”

A recent poll shows that a vast majority of Republicans want Boehner out as House Speaker, with one GOP leader saying he has “lost the confidence of his own party.”
Palin says she is cheering on Texas Republican Louie Gohmert, who has offered up his name as an alternative to Boehner.
