Rand Paul Slams Hillary: She Thinks She’s Above the Law

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on America’s Newsroom this morning, and slammed Hillary Clinton for, among other things, believing she’s “above the law.”

The Political Insider previously reported that Judge Andrew Napolitano believes Clinton may be guilty of the same crime that General David Petraeus recently pled guilty to.

The judge believed that, much like Petraeus was forced to admit, Hillary “knowingly violated the law.”

Paul agrees, explaining that she left classified information in an insecure location, held onto government information after leaving her service as Secretary of State, and insists she perjured herself.

He summarized by saying her belief that “I’m above the law” shows she doesn’t have the “judgement to lead the nation.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said today on “America’s Newsroom” that he believes Hillary Clinton broke the law the same way former CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus did.

“I’m worried that she left government records in an unsecure site. And actually that she was still in possession of government records after she left government service,” he said, referring to the controversy over Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.

He explained that high-ranking government officials sign a statement that requires them to turn over all government records when they leave office. It’s still unclear whether Clinton signed the form.

“This is a real problem. Some people say, ‘well is this really a law? Could this really be prosecuted?’ It’s perjury. General Petraeus was recently accused of the same thing,” Paul said.

In terms of the 2016 race, Paul said he believes Americans will not look favorably on Clinton acting as if she was “above the law.”

It’s noteworthy to see so many lawmakers and pundits all agree on the basic premise that Hillary broke the law whether she signed the separation document or she didn’t.
