Country music icon Randy Travis nearly died in 2013 after suffering a massive stroke, and while he has been making steady progress in his recovery, he will never be the same performer we know and love.
On Sunday night, Travis was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame by Garth Brooks, and although Travis is unable to speak full sentences, he brought the audience to tears with a rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
During the ceremony, Travis’ wife, Mary Davis-Travis, asked the guests sat the 2016 Medallion Ceremony to stand and join Travis in singing.
